The Canadian Public Works Association (CPWA), or Association Canadienne des Travaux Publics (ACTP), was founded in 1986 to enhance the services of the American Public Works Association (APWA) to the Canadian public works community. Since that time, CPWA has become “the voice of public works in Canada.”

Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA)The Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA), a Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization of water professionals, dedicated to protecting public health through the delivery of safe, sufficient, and sustainable drinking water in Ontario. OWWA has more than 1,400 members across the province working in all sectors of the drinking water industry including: municipal water system managers and operators, consulting engineers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and academia.
OWWA provides leadership in water management through education and innovation, by promoting continual improvement in customer relations, science, and technology, and by participating in the development of government policy. To do this, OWWA has 17 volunteer committees dedicated to knowledge creation and exchange, advocacy, and leadership in water stewardship to its members, the general public, and all levels of government. |
